Schoolmaster: Export to Edline

Exporting Grades to Edline

  1. Open up schoolmaster gradebook.
  2. Click on Web
  3. Select the “Progress Export (Edline)”
  4. Click on the Gradebooks button
  5. Select the grade books that you want to export
  6. Select the Correct Date Range that you want to export.
  7. Click the Export button
  8. It will then start to export the students to Edline.
  9. You are not finished at this point.

  1. It will now open up an Edline page.
  2. You need to type in your user name and password that we took time to set you up with during the Edline training at the beginning of the school year.
    1. It is not necessarily the same user name and password that you use on your teacher computer.  This is the password that you registered with to gain access to the school webpage.
    2. If you cannot remember the username or password, you can either talk to your site secretaries/principals or give me a call at 7790.
  3. It will now go through a process or two.  Just wait it only takes a few seconds.  It may look like it has gone brain dead, but it hasn’t.
  4. If you teach and do grades at more than one school it might ask you which school you would look like to export to.
  1. Click continue after you have made your choice.
  2. You will now see that reports have been uploaded.
    1. You might also see an error or two.  This is normal so don’t worry about it.  It has usually been about students who have transferred out of your classes.
    2. You can read the error and if you are concerned about it then go ahead and call me.
  3. Click the OK button and it should now take you back to your school’s home webpage.
  4. To verify that it is working for you, you can go to each of your classes from the list under the “My Classes” area.
  5. Now you can select the link on the right had side of the page that says “Progress Report”
  6. You will then select a student from that class and it should show you the current progress report.

That’s all there is to it.
